Staten Island, NY (March 29, 2019) – On Thursday afternoon, March 28, the FDNY responded to a crash that left a vehicle overturned along the West Shore Expressway in Staten Island. The accident was reported to have taken place at approximately 4:50 p.m. at the Arthur Kill Road exit of the expressway, according to authorities. Saugerties, NY (March 29, 2019) – A two-car crash was reported to have occurred on Friday morning, March 29, in the Town of Saugerties that prompted responses from police and emergency medical crews. Authorities stated that the collision happened at the intersection of Route 32 and Glasco Turnpike at approximately 6:30 a.m. According to police, 21-year-old Jenna M. Schenectady, NY (March 29, 2019) – A work-related injury was reported to have occurred on Friday afternoon, March 29, in Schenectady after a worker became pinned by a tree that he had been removing. Depauville, NY (March 29, 2019) – Authorities have now released the identity of a man who was seriously injured after his car became pinned underneath a tractor-trailer in the town of Depauville. Port Richmond, NY (March 29, 2019) – Authorities have reported that a man who allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a minor at least three times over the course of a five-year period has now been indicted with the rape of the underage girl. 45-year-old Franco Zosayaz-Arellano, of the 900 block of Post Avenue, Port Richmond, was indicted Friday, March 29, following his arrest which occurred on February 19. Zosayaz-Arellano has been accused of subjected the victim to sexual intercourse in August 2014, as well as again in October 2017, according to police. The victim was reported to have known her abuser who first sexually abused her while she was under the age of 14. Zosayaz-Arellano has been indicted on felony charges of both second and third-degree rape.
