Queensbury, NY (November 30, 2018) – A school bus was reported to have become involved in a three-vehicle crash at an intersection in Queensbury on Friday afternoon, November 30. Authorities reported that the crash took place at around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Bay Road and Blind Rock Road. Police stated that the school bus had been at a stop light, waiting to make a left turn when a motor vehicle accident occurred nearby. The initial crash was between an unspecified vehicle and a minivan which subsequently forced the van to collide head-on with the bus. Paramedics and police were called to the scene where 14 students were onboard the bus. South Bristol, NY (November 30, 2018) – Officials in South Bristol have stated that a propane tank that exploded may have contributed to the extensiveness of a raging fire that tragically claimed two lives on Thursday night, November 29. The fire was reported to have started at around 9:00 p.m. when explosions were heard by neighbors at a home on Egypt Valley Road, which is also known as County Road 33. While a propane tank was stated to have exploded in the fire, the official cause of the blaze is not known at this time.
