Suffolk County, NY (February 28, 2019) – Following an extensive investigation, police have arrested eleven individuals who were allegedly involved in a sex trafficking ring on Long Island. The arrest was announced on Thursday morning, February 28, and targeted a total of eleven people from West Babylon to the town of Mastic, according to authorities. Investigators who worked on the case have stated that at least 10 young women were victimized by the suspects who were reported to have used drugs and violence in order to force the women into sex. The trafficking ring was stated to have operated throughout New York and into Connecticut as the suspects used various forms of assault and different threats against the victims. Staten Island, NY – Three Hurt in Collision on Staten Island Expressway

Staten Island, NY (February 28, 2019) – Three individuals sustained at least minor injuries following a car crash that took place on the Staten Island Expressway on Wednesday night, February 27. The accident was reported to have happened at around 6:48 p.m. between at least two vehicles for reasons that have not been confirmed. Catskill, NY – Man Charged with Possessing Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child

Catskill, NY (February 28, 2019) – New York State Police have arrested and charged 52-year-old Trevor H. Keller, of Saugerties, with the class E felony of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child. Police stated that the arrest had been made at around 11:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, February 27, after the execution of a search warrant. According to authorities, the warrant was a result of an investigation that had been launched two weeks earlier by the State Police at Catskill. While details concerning the reason for the investigation have not been released at this time, police executed the warrant and arrested Keller at 159 Jefferson Heights suite A202 in the town of Catskill. Police were reported to have been assisted by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office during their investigation into the misconduct.
