Waterloo, NY (April 30, 2019) – On Monday, April 29, police announced the arrest of a 15-year-old boy who allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl earlier this month. According to authorities, the teenage boy from Mentz was charged with first-degree rape, which is a class B felony, for the abuse that was reported to have occurred on April 13. State Police in Waterloo stated that the incident was reported on the same day that it allegedly happened and that the police were alerted by a member of the suspect’s family. The 15-year-old suspect was arrested at approximately 1:30 p.m. following an interview with the victim that was conducted at the Childhood Advocacy Center of Cayuga County in Auburn, according to police. Deerfield, NY (April 30, 2019) – On Monday afternoon, April 29, a motor vehicle accident with serious injuries was reported on State Route 8 in the town of Deerfield, according to authorities. Walworth, NY (April 30, 2019) – According to police, three people were reported to have sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision that took place in Wayne County on Saturday night, April 27. Farmingdale, NY (April 28, 2019) – On April 20 around 2:45 a.m., police were called to the scene of a disturbance where a hit-and-run accident then took place, injuring an officer.
