Rochester, NY – I-490 Westbound Blocked Following Car Accident with Injuries

Rochester, NY (October 31, 2018) – Authorities reported a motor vehicle accident believed to have involved at least two vehicles in the left lane of the I-490 on Wednesday morning, October 31. The crash occurred at around 8:24 a.m. and resulted in blocking the left lane of the interstate, westbound.

According to authorities, the crash took place on the interstate between Brown Street and Child Street, and traffic was reported to be at a stop and go status back to Washington Street. Police along with emergency medical personnel were promptly called to the scene to assist any victims and assess the damages.

Paramedics who responded to the crash site were able to verify injuries that resulted from the impact of the collision. However, there has been no word concerning the severity of the injuries involved or the number of victims.

No further details have been released pertaining to the events that led to this incident.
