Grant City, NY – One Person Hospitalized Following Two-Car Crash

Grant City, NY (November 29, 2018) – Police in Staten Island have reported a two-vehicle crash that sent one person to the hospital on Thursday morning, November 29. The motor vehicle accident took place at approximately 7:29 a.m. during morning rush hour traffic on Hylan Boulevard in Grant City.

The crash happened near Lincoln Avenue as dispatchers sent police and paramedics to that location in order to render aid to any victims. Emergency medical personnel stated that one person suffered injuries that have been classified as minor. That victim was immediately taken to Staten Island University in Ocean Breeze.

The vehicles involved in the accident have been reported as a black BMW SUV and a gray Lexus sedan. The BMW suffered a broken front-end, as the Lexus had its airbags deployed and dents along the driver’s side following the crash.

The events that led to this accident are currently under investigation by local authorities.
