Ontario, NY – Two-Vehicle Collision Injures Two People in Wayne County

Ontario, NY (November 28, 2018) – On Tuesday night, November 27, police responded to a call concerning a two-car crash that left two people injured at the intersection of Kenyon Road and Knickerbocker Road in Ontario. Authorities stated that the accident happened when the two vehicles collided at approximately 7:07 p.m.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Louis Dudley, 38, of Sodus, had been driving east along Kenyon Road just before the collision. Upon entering the intersection with Knickerbocker Road, Dudley collided with a car that was being operated by Susanne U. Miedlich, 49.

Dudley’s vehicle overturned due to the impact of the accident and subsequently crashed into a Rochester Gas and Electric utility pole at the intersection. Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene to assist the parties involved. Both victims were immediately transported to Strong Memorial Hospital where they are being treated or their injuries.

The victims’ conditions have been stated to be non-life-threatening at this time. Dudley was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield.
