Bronx, NY – Multi-Vehicle Crash on Hutchinson River Parkway

Bronx, NY (December 5, 2018) – Emergency medical vehicles were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on the Hutchinson River Parkway on Thursday morning, December 5. According to authorities, injuries are believed to have occurred after several vehicles collided at around 7:00 a.m.

Dispatchers sent police along with emergency crews to the crash site, located a little south of the Westchester County border. Travelers who were heading southbound faced severe delays due to the crash as traffic slowed dramatically from the Cross County Parkway east into the Bronx.

Injuries are believed to have taken place due to the presence of emergency medical vehicles, however, there has been no official word concerning the number of people who were hurt in the wreck. Likewise, the conditions of the injured party or parties have not been reported at this time.

An accident involving a tractor-trailer took place around the same time on the same stretch of road in New Rochelle. There was no mention of any injuries in the details concerning that incident.
