Brooklyn, NY – Vehicle Fire at 1225 39 Street Leads to Fatality
Brooklyn, NY (May 26, 2019) – Police and other emergency responders arrived at the scene of a vehicle fire that took place in Brooklyn and led to one fatality. The incident took place at 1225 39 Street. Police received 911 calls for a vehicle fire at that address and quickly jumped into action. Upon arrival, FDNY personnel worked to extinguish the car fire. While doing so, they discovered an unidentified adult male. He was unconscious and unresponsive. Firefighters were able to pull out the male from the driver’s seat of the 2018 Accord. They have since identified him as a Hasidic Yeshiva student. He tragically passed away due to trauma from the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
