Suffolk County, NY – At Least Ten Young Women Saved from Sex Trafficking Ring

Suffolk County, NY (February 28, 2019) – Following an extensive investigation, police have arrested eleven individuals who were allegedly involved in a sex trafficking ring on Long Island. The arrest was announced on Thursday morning, February 28, and targeted a total of eleven people from West Babylon to the town of Mastic, according to authorities.

Investigators who worked on the case have stated that at least 10 young women were victimized by the suspects who were reported to have used drugs and violence in order to force the women into sex. The trafficking ring was stated to have operated throughout New York and into Connecticut as the suspects used various forms of assault and different threats against the victims.

At this time, police are currently continuing their investigation into the situation as they build their case against the perpetrators. No further information has been released.
