Baywood, NY – One Injured in Fire on Ocean Avenue in Baywood

Baywood, NY (March 31, 2019) – On Saturday morning, fire officials say that one person received injuries in a fire that took place on Ocean Avenue in Baywood.

The fire was deemed “raging” as it burned through a home in Baywood. Police did not confirm who the injured party was or the extent of their injuries.

Firefighters were initially called to the scene of the fire around 3:30 a.m. on Ocean Avenue. The injured person was rescued from the fire and immediately taken to the hospital with injuries.

Police did not confirm whether or not the person was living in the house that caught fire. The investigation into the fire continues at this time.
