Canandaigua, NY – Car Accident at Intersection of Emerson and Sandhill Roads
Canandaigua, NY (March 30, 2019) – Deputies responded to the scene of an accident that took place at Emerson and Sandhill Roads where one person was ticketed afterward.
The accident took place yesterday, March 29, according to deputies. They stated that the injury crash took place at the intersection of Emerson and Sandhill in Canandaigua.
The driver, identified as Todd Glassford, was driving an SUV north on Sandhill Road where he drove into the intersection. When he did so, police say that he traveled directly into the path of Krystina Riccio.
Riccio had allegedly been traveling west on Emerson Road at the time. Riccio was injured and taken to the hospital.
Police ticketed Glassford for failing to yield the right-of-way at the intersection. The investigation continues.
