Fulton County, NY – Man Arrested for Sexual Contact with Person Under 13-Years-Old

Fulton County, NY (April 29, 2019) – According to police, a man from Fulton County has been arrested and charged with the rape of a minor following an incident that recently occurred at an unspecified time. Authorities announced the arrest of 19-year-old Tyler R. Benton on Sunday, April 28.

Investigators with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department stated that Benton was arrested after allegations of him having sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 13. Investigators have accused Benton of the aforementioned crime due to a detailed analysis of the incident and the parties involved. However, neither details concerning the allegations nor the identity of the victim have been reported at this time.

Police stated that Benton was arraigned in Town of Perth Court and then remanded to Fulton County Correctional Facility. He is currently being held on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Benton is expected to appear in Town of Johnstown Court in the near future.
