Latham, NY – Motorcycle Rider Suffers Multiple Broken Bones Following Accident with SUV

Latham, NY (April 30, 2019) – A seriously injurious motorcycle crash was reported to have taken place at an unspecified time on Monday evening, April 29, according to police. The accident occurred on Troy-Schenectady Road in the town of Latham and resulted in the hospitalization of the motorcyclist involved.

According to witnesses, an SUV is believed to have been traveling east along the aforementioned road when the operator attempted to make a left turn onto Sylvan Avenue. An unidentified motorcycle rider was reported to have been heading in the same direction when they tried to pass the turning SUV.

Emergency medical personnel was immediately called to the scene where they transported the severely injured motorcyclist to Albany Medical Center for treatment. The patient sustained multiple broken bones but no information has been released concerning their current condition. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
