Yonkers, NY – Woman Killed in Crash at Trinity Plaza
Yonkers, NY (April 29, 2019) – A car accident in Yonkers was reported to have tragically resulted in the death of one woman on Saturday night, April 27. Police stated that 24-year-old Eemajee Jones appears to be the only party involved in the crash that took place at Trinity Plaza for reasons that are currently being investigated.
According to authorities, Jones became involved in a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Walnut Street and Ashburton Avenue at an unspecified time. The vehicle that Jones was operating appears to have spun out of control before crashing into a concrete barrier but the cause is unknown at this time.
Police and paramedics were promptly summoned to the crash site where they administered CPR and rushed Jones to a local hospital. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead a short time later. The events that led to this accident are under investigation.
