Staten Island, NY – Emergency Crews Called to Scene of Two-Car Crash in New Springville
Staten Island, NY (May 30, 2019) – A large emergency medical response was at the scene of a two-vehicle collision that happened on Wednesday afternoon, May 29, for reasons that are being investigated. The accident took place on Richmond Hill Road in New Springville at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The FDNY was immediately sent to the crash site near Norden Street to assist in the crash which ended with an overturned vehicle. Emergency medical technicians were at the scene attending to any injured parties as of 3:00 p.m., according to authorities.
At this time, the number of people injured in this incident, however, all injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening. According to police, traffic backed up in both directions for about 10 blocks but no further information has been provided.
