Alabama, NY – Head-on Collision on Bloomingdale Road Takes One Life
Alabama, NY (June 29, 2019) – Police confirmed that one man was killed in a head-on crash that took place on Bloomingdale Road in Alabama around 4 p.m.
The accident took place when a 17-year-old, whose name has not yet been released, was driving his pickup truck when he suddenly swerved into the opposite lane while attempting to avoid another vehicle that he spotted at the last minute. The truck struck an SUV head-on.
A 78-year-old man in the SUV tragically passed away at the scene of the accident.
Police confirmed that the 17-year-old was not injured and they have not said that he is facing charges or not.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
