East Meadow, NY – SUV Collides with Sedan on Merrick Avenue

East Meadow, NY (June 29, 2019) – Around 7 p.m. last night, June 29, police were called to the scene of a serious accident involving two vehicles on Merrick Avenue.

Police confirmed that four people were injured in the accident. The crash took place on Merrick Avenue when an SUV and a sedan collided. The sedan was sent off the side of the road and nearly struck a building across the street from the crash.

Both drivers were pinned in their vehicles and had to immediately be pulled out by first responders.

All injured parties are expected to make full recoveries.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
