Patchogue, NY – Man Struck in Pedestrian Accident on West Main Street

Patchogue, NY (June 30, 2019) – Last night, June 30 around 10:45 p.m., police say that one person was struck in a serious pedestrian accident that took place on West Main Street.

The man was struck when he walked out onto the busy roadway and a vehicle struck him immediately. The accident took place at 52 West Main Street.

The driver who struck the man stayed at the scene and has not since been charged with any citations.

The pedestrian was injured and transported to the Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
