Phelps, NY – Hit-and-Run Accident Along Wilbur Road with Injuries
Phelps, NY (June 30, 2019) – Deputies responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident that took place on Wilbur Road in Phelps and caused injuries to one party.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. when 23-year-old Molly Spock of Newark had been driving southbound on Wilbur Road when another vehicle went around her and forced her off the roadway.
The second vehicle, which then fled the scene, was identified as a red minivan. This was evident in the paint that was found on Spock’s vehicle.
The Phelps Fire Department also arrived at the scene of the accident. Spock was injured and transported to the Newark Wayne Community Hospital for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
